Paladin Acquires “A Love Affair”
Distributor Paladin picked up David Guy Levy’s romance “A Love Affair of Sorts,” skedding the Flip camera-filmed feature for the festival circuit in early 2011 ahead of a theatrical release soon thereafter. Levy — also a producer whose credits include “Lying” and “August” — helms and co-stars in the movie, about a relationship between a woman in a bookstore, played by Lily Bordan, and the man she catches filming him on his Flip camera. Entire movie is shot with a Flip camera, the brand of ultra-small digital camcorders. Levy’s production shingle, Periscope Entertainment, produces.
