Writer-Producer Team Set for Another Historical Epic
Producer Gareth Unwin and screenwriter David Seidler, who collaborated on “The King’s Speech,” which had a gala screening Friday night at the Toronto International Film Festival, are reteaming for another period drama, “The Lady Who Went Too Far.” “Lady,” which Seidler is penning for Unwin’s Bedlam Prods., will tell the story of Lady Hester Stanhope, and is based on the biography “Star of the Morning,” by Kirsten Ellis. Set during the Napoleonic Wars, Stanhope was a world traveller and her tale contains elements of a political thriller as she moves through Europe and the Middle East.
