Oscar Winner Headed to “Oblivion” with New Project
Disney has tapped “The Departed” writer William Monahan to pen an adaptation of graphic novel “Oblivion,” with “Tron Legacy” director Joe Kosinski attached to direct. Project’s centered on a court-martialed soldier assigned to a post-Apocalyptic planet becomes entwined with a mysterious traveler. Radical Studios previewed the novel, created by Kosinski and written by Arvid Nelson with art by Andree Wallin, at Comic-Con.
