Magnolia Films Got Some “Good Neighbors”
Magnolia Films has acquired all U.S. rights to Myriad Pictures’ thriller “Good Neighbors,” directed by Jacob Tierney and toplining Jay Baruchel, Scott Speedman and Emily Hampshire. “Good Neighbors” made its world preem at the Toronto Film Fest in September, and screens this weekend at the Whistler Film Fest in British Columbia. Set in the dead of winter, “Good Neighbors” tells the story of a serial killer on the loose. Three residents of a small apartment building retreat indoors, but they might not be any safer there. Project re-teams Tierney and Baruchel, who worked together on “The Trotsky.”
