Any Michael J. Fox Sighting on TV Is a Good One
Due to his on-going battle with Parkinson’s disease, Michael J. Fox doesn’t appear on television too frequently. When he does decide to make a guest appearance somewhere it tends to not only be pretty big news but, in some cases, results in a ratings boost for the show. This time around, the five-time Emmy winner is appearing on the drama “The Good Wife.” Fox will appear as lawyer Simon Canning, a cynical litigator who goes against Alicia Florrick — played by “Good Wife” Emmy-nominated star Julianna Margulies — in a class action suit against a large pharmaceutical company. From the network press release, Fox’s character will also be a victim of Parkinson’s and use it to his advantage during the trial to encourage sympathy for the huge corporation.
